More Than Just a High School

Saint Raphael Academy is a coeducational, college preparatory high school that has served the young people of the Blackstone Valley and beyond for over 80 years by providing a strong, Catholic education in the tradition of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.  Located in the historic Quality Hill Neighborhood of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the Academy boasts a 12-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, over 45 state athletic titles, and triumph in 11 of the last 15 State Drama Festivals.  The Academy has prepared over 7,000 young men and women for some of the best colleges and universities in the country, and Academy graduates have gone on to become the foremost professionals in business, law, medicine, education, science, and engineering.  The Academy prides itself on being more than just a high school.  Its family-like atmosphere offers students a place they can call home and a place where life-long friendships can be made.  The Academy’s Catholic identity reminds students that it’s about more than just their GPA.  And its dedicated faculty never allows a student to be just another face in the crowd.

Giving Opportunity

In 2005, the Academy embarked upon the ambitious The  Time is Now Capital Campaign to raise funds for new  Athletic and Fine Arts Centers.  In 2007, the Academy  opened its beautiful, new Athletics & Wellness Center,  Alumni Hall.  While fundraising efforts continue, plans are  under way for the new Fine Arts Center.   If you would like  join our Campaign and make a donation, please click on  the Supporting Saints tab above or contact our Academy  Advancement Office.  All gifts to the Academy, whether  large or small, truly make a difference to the students of Saint Raphael Academy.
